About Bright Futures
Practical guidance. Compassionate support. Real understanding.
Hi, I’m Louise, founder of Bright Futures SEN Family & Adult Support.
For over 20 years, I’ve supported children, young people, adults and families across education, healthcare and social care. Throughout my career I’ve worked alongside families during some of the most challenging times in their lives, helping them understand complex systems, access the right support and move forward with confidence.
Bright Futures was created because I know how overwhelming SEND, education, benefits and social care can feel. Families often tell me they don’t know where to start, who to trust or what their rights are. My aim is to make that journey clearer by providing calm, practical and personalised support.
My Experience
Over the past two decades I’ve worked across a wide range of settings, giving me an understanding of how different services work together.
My experience includes:
Schools (HLTA and SEND support)
Early Years and Nursery Leadership
NHS Children’s Hospital
Adult Hospital Services
Supported Living
Community Family Support
SEND Advocacy and Consultancy
This breadth of experience allows me to understand situations from both a professional and family perspective.
What I Can Help With
I provide support with:
• EHCP applications, reviews and appeals
• DLA & PIP applications, reviews and appeals
• School concerns and SEND support
• Advocacy at meetings
• Professional letters and complaints

Qualifications & Training
I hold CACHE Levels 2, 3 and 4 qualifications alongside Higher Level Teaching Assistant status and have completed extensive professional development in SEND, safeguarding, healthcare and early years practice. My training includes EHCPs, autism, ADHD, child development, healthcare, safeguarding, paediatric first aid and communication support.
